How much does it cost to build a water well?
The cost of building a water well varies depending on the location, depth, and ground conditions. On average, a sustainable water well costs between €500-€1,500. Your donation directly covers drilling, materials, labor, and a pump for clean water access.
Where are the water wells built?
We build water wells in rural and underserved areas of Pakistan, including Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. We prioritize communities with no access to clean drinking water and where waterborne diseases are prevalent.
Will I receive proof of my donation?
Yes! We provide a donation receipt for tax purposes. Additionally, you will receive updates, photos, GPS coordinates, and a completion certificate of the water well built with your contribution.
Is this a Sadaqah Jariyah project?
Yes, this is one of the best forms of Sadaqah Jariyah. The Prophet Muhammad (ï·º) said: "The best charity is giving water to drink." Every time someone drinks, cooks, or uses this water, you receive ongoing reward, insha'Allah.
Can I dedicate a well to someone?
Absolutely! You can dedicate a water well in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone special, or on behalf of a family member. We can place a small plaque with the dedication name at the well site.
